Q. Are all your products fresh and genuine?
A. Definitely 100%. We never sell anything other than genuine brand items on our website.
Our products are sourced from around the world, so a small number of the products sold on our website may look slightly different from what you have at home, but the products are still 100% genuine and produced by the original manufacturer for that particular brand. For example, a product sold in the US may differ in appearance from the same product sold in Australia or Japan, but the product is still genuine.
Freshness is also 100% guaranteed as we keep all our stock in a temperature controlled environment prior to shipping and subject to regular quality control checks.
Q. Do you have a catalogue?
A. No, but everything available is listed on our website with photos and general descriptions. Our website is updated in real-time ensuring everything listed is available for immediate shipment.
Q. Do you provide samples?
A. Sometimes. Please note we have some of the lowest prices on the internet together with free shipping. As we purchase from our suppliers at only the best prices, additional samples are not always supplied. However, we do include free samples in orders if they are available. Please note free samples can only be sent included with an order.
Q. Would you be able to find something not listed on your website?
A. Quite possibly. We have an extensive global supplier network which ensures our product range is the largest anywhere on the internet so we just might be able to find what you're looking for, even if it's been discontinued in your country. Contact us if you have ordered an item before but don't see it listed anymore, it is most likely just sold out. We are normally able to replenish stock within a week so keep checking regularly. If the item you're looking for has not been relisted after a week, please contact us and we can advise when new stock is likely to arrive.
Q. I have x type skin, with y characteristics and z problems. What type of product would suit me best?
A. Our speciality is sourcing all major brands, from all around the world and selling at the lowest prices on the net, with free shipping and a loyalty bonus offering significant discounts on top of the best prices. To be able to do this we operate on a very tight cost budget and do not employ the skin or color specialists, nor the technology to answer this type of question comprehensively. Rather than try and just give you an answer, we would rather be honest and suggest you obtain these answers elsewhere, from the brands or specialist sites, and then use us to repeat purchase at the best price.
Q. What is the difference between Perfume, Eau de Parfum, Eau de Toilette, and Eau de Cologne?
A. The differences are simply a matter of the amount or concentration of oils in the fragrance.
The highest concentration is in pure perfume (or parfum).
Next would be Eau de Parfum (EDP), then Eau de Toilette (EDT), and finally Eau de Cologne.
Some manufacturers make a solid perfume, solid perfume is as strong as a pure perfume however it is in a gel-like consistency.
Eau De Toilette and Eau De Cologne are generally interchangeable, especially in Men's fragrances.
After Shave has the least amount of oils. The higher the concentration the longer your fragrance will last, and the less you need to apply.
Q. Why do some fragrances seem to last much longer than others?
A. People with dry skin usually find their fragrance holding time shorter than those with oily skin because oily skin has more natural moisture to hold in the fragrance.
PH levels (amount of acidity in our skin) also varies slightly from person to person. Our individual levels of PH will determine how each ingredient in a fragrance will react.
Q. How can I make my scent last longer?
A. Fragrance lasts longer on some people than on others because of differences in our skin (oily or dry) and in our PH levels.
To achieve a longer effect, try layering your fragrance. Using the fragrance bath gel, (if the company offers one), then
the moisturizer or powder, and then the Eau de Toilette, Eau de Parfum or Eau de Cologne,
will usually have a longer lasting effect.
Also, apply your fragrance low on the body, as well as behind your ears and on your neck, so that the scent rises and you won't lose it as quickly.
A light spray on the hair can last all day.
Q. What is the difference between a splash and a spray?
A. There is absolutely no difference in the fragrance. The difference is in the method of application only.
However, a spray bottle, being sealed all the time, may actually have a longer shelf life.
Making the decision between spray and splash is entirely a matter of personal preference.
Q. Why do some men wear Cologne, and others prefer to wear After Shave?
A. Cologne's fragrance will generally last much longer than After Shave. However, many men choose to wear both.
The fragrance lasts longer, you can use less of each, and you get the facial benefit of an After Shave.
Q. Why does fragrance contain alcohol?
A. Alcohol makes the fragrance emanate from your skin. Without alcohol, you would be the only person
who knew you were wearing any fragrance at all.
Q. What are the differences between After Shave Lotion, After Shave Gel, and After Shave Balm?
A. After Shave Lotion will usually sting as well as help close the pores after shaving.
After Shave Balm is actually soothing to the skin.
After Shave Gel also soothes the skin, but cools the skin as well and relieves razor burn.
Q. What is shower gel?
A. Shower gel is soap in a different form. It is made for use by both men and women, foams up well and leaves your chosen fragrance on the skin. It then enhances your cologne or perfume and the fragrance will last much longer.
Q. What do fragrance notes refer to?
A. Fragrances are comprised of many different scents, these scents are called "notes."
Top notes are very light and last just a few minutes (5-10 minutes). Middle notes become apparent in about 15 minutes after application. These can last up to an hour or more. Bottom notes are the heavier ingredients. These last the longest, usually for several hours.
Q. How can I keep my fragrance from going bad?
A. Keep all fragrance in a cool, dry area, and away from windows as sunlight can unbalance the various ingredients.
An opened bottle should be kept in its box to insure a longer shelf life.
Q. What are the fragrance levels?
A. Perfume is composed of natural or synthetic fragrant oil extracts diluted in water and high-grade alcohol. The composition of these oil extracts determines the level or "strength" of the fragrance which affects the lasting power of the scent. Below are the different fragrance levels:
Eau de Cologne - least concentrated (fragrance lasts up to 1 hour)
Eau de Toilette - concentrated (fragrance lasts up to 2 hours)
Eau de Parfum - concentrated (fragrance lasts up to 3-4 hours)
Perfume or Parfum Classic - highly concentrated (fragrance lasts up to 5-6 hours)
Q. What sizes are the miniature collectibles?
A. Miniatures sizes varies from .10 oz to .15 oz approximately 10ml-15ml.
